There are so many Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Western, Thai restaurants out there but you hardly find a Vietnamese restaurant in Penang. If you have a hankering for Vietnamese Pho, the good news is you need not fly to Vietnam! :D

Saigon Kitchen (Former “Com Viet”) restaurant has been open for a few years but not many people know about it because it is at a hidden corner on Pulau Tikus behind Bee Chin Hiang or Kassim Mustafa, one of the shop houses at a cul-de-sac. It is a nice cozy restaurant with not too many people. But they do need business to sustain, so I am blogging about them so more people know about the place.

Comes with dessert as well.

Comes with dessert as well.

They serve set lunch like this set of Pho Bo (Vietnamese Beef Noodles Soup) that comes with 3 fresh prawns rice paper spring rolls, lemon grass ginger tea and a dessert for only RM15.90.  Love the spring rolls, so fresh and crunchy. The noodles and soup are good too! I also love the specially made lemon grass ginger tea, the taste is so special and nice. RM15.90 a good price for a hearty lunch!

Try it and let me know what you think! Enjoy your meal. :-)
